Oh my goodness, have you seen the book The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be, written by Joanna Gaines?! I mean, she is my idol in so many ways, from her sense of style to her home decor inspiration. But this…this book right here.
The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be is a beautifully written story about teamwork and celebrating our unique qualities. Children will love the colorful pictures and enjoy watching the characters in the book design their hot air balloons. I mean, who doesn’t love to watch hot air balloons take flight?!

I have also created a craft/resource for parents and/or teachers to go with this book. Kiddos will be able to create their own “hot air balloon,” focusing on what makes them feel special. I did this with my students at the beginning of the school year, and the bulletin board was A TOTAL HIT!
