Weekly Dose of TLC

Your Weekly Dose of TLC (02/26/25)

Hi friends! Thank YOU for coming back to join me for your Weekly Dose of TLC!

As always, I will be focusing on 3 good things for the week in this single post – everything Teacher-Life-Coach is all about:

T: The teacher in me…
L: Life hacks, good finds, and general fun
C: Motivation and inspiration

Before we get started, I apologize for being absent these past few weeks. My mom had an accident and suffered a serious fall, and I became her full-time caregiver for the time being. With this in mind, I want to focus on some of what I have learned and figured out during this time in our next few Weekly Dose of TLC installments.

So, with that, let’s go!

T – Cross It Off

The teacher in me makes lists for EVEYRTHING! And now between doctor appointments, a full medicine schedule, and just the regular day-to-day ‘stuff,’ I would not be able to function without my daily to-do list. If you have been following me for some time (or even recently), you know I have shared some fun (and different) options for lists and list-making. For me, the best thing about list-making is the act of crossing things off. With days that often seem to melt into one (at least for me right now) and the fact that things can feel so crazy, crossing off items on that list FEELS SO GOOD. And…since we are almost at the start of a new month, I wanted to leave a March printable here for you to grab.

L – Little Luxuries (#1)

I am pretty sure this is going to be a mini-series for the next few Weekly Dose of TLC posts because it is an important lesson I have learned these past few weeks.

As much as we want to give 150% to everyone, we HAVE to make sure we are taking care of ourselves. So many people have been saying this to me lately, and my first thought or reaction is always “When do I have time?”. But, then I started to realize that taking care of ourselves doesn’t always have to be some big event or production. Sometimes, it’s the little things that we can incorporate into the things we do every day or week that can make us breathe a little easier and/or feel as though we have taken a moment to regroup.

So, here is little luxury #1:
Shower Steamers

No time to get to a spa? Bring the spa to you. I am serious, the aromatherapy these little treats bring to your day is top-notch. Personally, I like the Calm (lavender ones) and the Relief (eucalyptus mint) scents. I have linked two affiliate links below the photo (I ran out of my eucalyptus for the pic) in case you are interested in checking them out.

C – Today

Let’s finish out our weekly TLC talking about this day…the one we have right in front of us.

Each day, we are blessed with a wonderful opportunity to start fresh. Now, granted – some things we can’t erase from the day(s) before, but we do have many options throughout our day to make it what we want. So, I am going to leave you with this simple question as we move into the second half of our day (and week): What wonder will you make today?

Sending you good vibes…
~S~

  1. Thank you! As always you have great ideas. Just a quick FYI Amazon has the Shower Steamers on sale as a Lightning deal. There is also a combo package with both scents. I just ordered them!
