Hey there! I don’t know about where you are, but spring is FINALLY starting to come around in my neck of the woods. I know that personally, sunny and warm(er) days like today make me feel good all around. And it’s only natural to realize that when we feel good, we are more inclined to do things that make us feel even better. So, I wanted to jump on here today to tell you about a new book I recently bought, titled Young Forever by Mark Hyman, MD.

Now…I have my fair share of wellness books – as a matter of fact, one entire section of my home library is dedicated to anything and everything that can make me a better human, inside and out. I don’t claim to be a nutritionist or a health guru or even a wellness coach because I’m not any of those things. I am simply a teacher (by day) trying to live her best, most fulfilling and healthy life.
Mark Hyman, MD is well-known to many in the wellness industry (he has a strong social media and online following), and I would often see or seek out his posts. So, when his latest book became available to me as a presale, I didn’t hesitate.
He writes in a way so that anyone and everyone can understand and take something from what they have read. Two key takeaways for me so far?
- It’s never too late to start training to become the healthiest version of you.
- The top 5 foods for longevity: Cruciferous vegetables, olive oil, nuts and seeds, berries, and green tea.
This book makes me stop and think, quite often, “I can do that,” and it gives me that little swift kick needed to jumpstart even more positive and healthy changes in my life.
So, what’s my purpose with all this? Nothing more than sending out a little encouragement to anyone who might need that simple ‘pep talk’ and to give you a new reading suggestion if you’re looking to make some positive health changes. AND if you’re reading (or have read) Young Forever, leave me a comment and let me know what your thoughts and/or takeaways are.

Happy reading and all the good vibes, friends!
