Book Review: The Golden Couple

It has been a while since I have done a book review, mainly because I haven’t been setting aside time for myself to read. (I am currently fixing that.) However…

This. Book. Was. Awesome. I mean, book hangover kind of awesome. The type of book that I wanted to keep reading so I could find out what happens, yet didn’t want the book to end kind of awesome. I devoured it in 3 days awesome.

Now, as I have mentioned before – I never like giving too much of a book away because I don’t like to ruin the surprise for future readers. But, if I could tell you about this book without telling you about this book, I would simply say:

I was raising my eyebrows by page 2.
The way the chapters were told from alternating point of views was perfect.
There were a few things I picked up on quickly, and it felt good to reaffirm my thoughts.
There were a few things I didn’t see coming at all.
It definitely makes you rethink how “perfect” things appear to be.

I walked around my house last night, looking at different books on my “To Be Read” list, but I just couldn’t decide on one – I mean this one was JUST SO GOOD.

So, I think for now, I will just read some good ol’ cookbooks.

Currently, this book is a pre-release, and it won’t be available until March 3rd. But, if you don’t want to wait, it is available on Kindle here:
