Check, please.

Self-care. Maybe you love it. Maybe you think it’s just a buzzword of the day. Maybe you are totally indifferent to it. Wherever you are on the self-care love/hate continuum, I am here to help.

I know it is hard to hear someone tell you to practice self-care when your proverbial plate is overflowing. Trust me, I get that. But, self-care doesn’t have to be all bubble baths and green tea. I mean, it can be…but it is even more accessible than that. Self-care is simply taking time to focus on you – your mind, your body, your well-being.

With that, say hello to Wednesday…more specifically Wellness Wednesday. The middle of the week is the perfect time to stop and reflect – how has your week gone so far, how would you like the rest of it to go?

Today, let’s do a mindset check-in. Now, I know we all check our phones often. It’s okay. It’s the way things are these days. But, what if we checked our mindset just as much (or even twice as much)? Every time you check your phone, check in with yourself. How are you feeling in that moment? Are you speaking kindly to yourself? If not, what change can you make?

So, friends, I leave you with this: even if just for today, check your phone a little less and check yourself a little more…and Happy Wellness Wednesday!
