Yesterday after dinner I settled in with a book. Last night I finished said book (I didn’t mean to).

Now, with this one… On one hand, I had to keep myself from peeking at the last few pages so I knew how the book ended. On the other hand, I wasn’t a big fan of the main character. I found myself rolling my eyes at her on many occasions. But, that’s the sign of a good writer – they can make you love or hate their characters, which is much better than being indifferent.
The NYC setting was a plus. The 9/11 timeframe brought back memories. The “settling” in a relationship – well, been there, done that.
Should you read this? Why not. It’s an easy read with a little bit of mystery tucked in between the pages. The ending left me wanting a few more pages because it left some questions unanswered. Maybe a sequel is on the horizon. I mean, after all – Emily Giffin first drew me in YEARS ago with her Something Borrowed followed by Something Blue.
I am off to find another title in my TBR basket.
Happy Reading!
