Today is Day 11 (woohoo!) of our 30-Day Self-Care Challenge. You’re gonna like this one!
Now, I am one of those people who loves to cook. Being in the kitchen makes me VERY happy. Cleaning up, not so much…(who’s with me on that?!).
Anyway…with that in mind, I thought that since it was a Sunday it would be a good day for this self-care activity. Knowing that our weekdays are usually so busy, it’s not always easy to take part in culinary creativity during the week. It’s also not always easy to enjoy our yummies mindfully when our schedule has us doing other things.
So, today I want you to make something delicious for yourself. It can be a smoothie, a latte, a snack, a baked treat, or even a full meal – whatever makes your taste buds dance! THEN, sit down and actually ENJOY what you have made. Put away the phone, the work, etc. and simply focus on the yummy goodness in front of you. It’s time to nurture your body and your soul.
