Did Someone Say Challenge?

A week or so ago, I asked my friends on social media if they would be interested in joining me in a 30-day self-care challenge. After all, I could definitely use the accountability and support that comes with having others take the journey with me. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and I am thrilled to have so many friends interested in this idea!

I thought, then, that I would share the fun and joy with you because as we all know, we can’t be our best selves for others if we don’t give that same love to ourselves.

So….if you’re up for the challenge, here it is:
Each day, I will share a VERY easy, very accessible self-care activity to complete. Now, since I am part rule-follower, part “what rules?” I am going to say you can complete it any way you choose. If you want to do each activity daily, that’s perfect! If you want to double up one day, that’s A-Okay, too! The most important thing is that you do this for YOU. (I will also be putting together a 30-day calendar printable at the end of the month so you can revisit as often as you would like.)

You see, setting goals for ourselves has a number of benefits. It gives us a peek into how we want to feel. It paves the way for us to accomplish those things we always WANT to do, but put off for other things. Setting goals also gives us a chance to focus on ourselves. THAT, friends, is what’s up.
