Read a Book Day

I have one of those fun calendars that has the special “holidays” listed for each day of the year, and I always get excited when it’s one I can actually enjoy (some of them are really bizarre – fun, but bizarre). So naturally when I saw today was Read a Book Day, I was right on it!

I thought I would share my “currently reading” title. I chose this on a whim for one of my past Book of the Month boxes. I picked it up on a whim to start reading. I am setting aside time each day to read it, not on a whim. That part’s on purpose because I just want to keep reading more.

The prologue is enough to draw the reader in… (there’s some salty language but if you can overlook that, it’s worth it). Set in NYC (one of my favorite places to spend the day), this dives deep into the lives of those who live the lives we all think we want. Or do we?

I will write a full review when I’m finished, but I thought maybe others may want to pick up this title and give it a go. Oh, and by the way…you WILL be singing “clap your hands” every time you look at the cover.
