Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are.”

Welcome to part three of my gratitude series. In my previous post I told you I had a little challenge for you…and who doesn’t love a challenge? But before we get to that, let’s get real for a few.
It’s easy to get caught up in our daily lives without letting gratitude enter. Things go wrong, not-so-good stuff happens, disappointments creep in, and well…you know…that’s how life goes sometimes. On those days, we may tend to focus on the negatives. We often become blind to the things we DO have and instead ruminate over the things we don’t. But…it’s also on those days when we have to think about our small joys, our little victories. These are things that help put life back into perspective.
So, with that being said – here’s my challenge to you: 30 Thankful Thoughts.
It’s pretty simple. Each day – any time of the day – take a few minutes to think about, write about, talk about the prompt of the day. Do you have to start this at the beginning of the month? Nope. Do you have to do it EVERY day? Nope again – it shouldn’t feel like a task. Can you go out of order? Of course. See? I told you it was simple. Make this work for YOU because the most important part is that you are putting a little gratitude into the mix, and putting those feel-good vibes into the world.
Now, I ask again…who’s ready for the challenge?? (A printable version is below.)
